Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 30 years (relaxations as per government norms)

Educational Qualification

  • Junior Engineer (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / E & C): Diploma in the respective engineering branch with minimum marks requirement

  • Supervisor (IT): Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent qualification

  • Sr. Accountant: Inter CA / Inter CMA or equivalent accounting qualification

  • Assistant Rajbhasha Officer / Hindi Translator: Master’s degree in Hindi or English with relevant background; experience in translation is preferred

Application Fee

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹600 plus taxes (total around ₹708)

  • SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen / Female candidates: Exempt

Selection Process

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT) for most posts

  2. Written / Descriptive Test for certain language posts

  3. Document Verification and Medical Fitness

Exam Pattern for JE, Supervisor (IT), Sr. Accountant

  • Part I: Discipline-specific subject (140 questions)

  • Part II: General Awareness (30 questions)

  • Part III: Reasoning (30 questions)

  • Total: 200 questions, 200 marks, duration 3 hours

Qualifying Marks

  • General / OBC / EWS: 40%

  • SC / ST / PwBD: 35%

Pay Scale

  • JE, Supervisor (IT), Sr. Accountant: ₹29,600 to ₹1,19,500 per month

  • Assistant Rajbhasha Officer: ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000 per month

  • Hindi Translator: ₹27,000 to ₹1,05,000 per month

Selected candidates may be placed across NHPC projects, power stations, offices, or subsidiaries across India.
